Did you know that the Sharing Center has two Thrift Store on our premises at 113 Aurora Street, Cocoa and our new location at 172 E. Merritt Island Causeway?
Due to the location of our Cocoa property in relation to the highway we are a “hidden jewel’’ for shoppers. Our Thrift Stores are a vital part of our operations, providing about one third of our operating funds. The stores are also a program, in that we give away clothing, household goods and furniture to local residents in need. (Last year we provided assistance with items from the store to clients 14,588 times.)
We accept donations of almost anything, and we will come and pick up furniture and appliances anywhere between the Pineda Causeway and Port St. John.
We have put a great deal of effort into improving the THRIFT STORES and the display and pricing of merchandise. We rotate our merchandise and have weekly sales. We have over 5,000 square feet of furniture and appliance space and we receive new donations 6 days a week. If you are a bargain hunter, a collector, an antiques treasure hunter, or just a browser, you should visit one of our stores, you will be surprised at the extent of our on-going the improvements.
