Find your place. Make a difference.

Volunteers are the heart of The Sharing Center. With a wide variety of opportunities, there’s a way for everyone to get involved, whether you’re outgoing and enjoy helping clients face-to-face or prefer to work behind the scenes.

You can serve in our Food Pantry, assist with sorting donations, work behind the counter at our Thrift Store, or lend a hand in our Community Kitchen. We also welcome groups and individuals for one-time special events like our Community BBQ or food packing days.

All regular volunteer shifts are just 3 hours, and you choose your availability. Whether you’re looking for a weekly commitment or a one-time opportunity, we’d love to have you join us.

We welcome individuals and service clubs alike so come join our group of volunteers and help make our mission a success.
To start, please fill out and submit the volunteer application or print and bring it to our office.
COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS
We handle Court Mandated Community Service a little differently from our regular volunteer opportunities.
Please stop by our office during business hours — Monday through Friday, between 9:00–11:30 AM or 1:00–2:45 PM — to pick up a Community Service Application Packet from our client services area.
Please do not complete the Volunteer Application on this page.
Once your completed Community Service Application Packet is returned, we’ll schedule you to begin your community service hours, typically in our warehouse.
After those hours are completed, you may be eligible to serve in other areas of the organization.
