Heritage Isle Cares Raises Over $21,000 to Fund Refrigerated Truck for the Sharing Center
The Sharing Center of Central Brevard is proud to announce that Heritage Isle Cares, a committed group of local residents, has raised over $21,000 to fund the purchase of a much-needed refrigerated truck. This vital addition will enhance our ability to safely store and distribute fresh food to individuals and families facing food insecurity in our community.
This generous donation was matched by a $15,000 grant from The Viera Company, demonstrating a strong partnership dedicated to supporting local families in need. With these combined funds, we are well on our way to acquiring the refrigerated truck; however, we are still seeking a third sponsor to help fully fund this important project.
