Behind Every Number Is a Neighbor
The Fiscal Year 2025/2026 Impact Report and a message from our President.
This year’s Impact Report tells a story of record service, growing need, and a community that continues to show up for one another.
During Fiscal Year 2025–2026, The Sharing Center of Central Brevard served 15,878 individuals, including 11,815 people living in family households.
Those numbers are important. But they are not the whole story.
Behind every number is a person.
A parent trying to put a nutritious dinner on the table after an unexpected expense. A senior stretching a fixed income through the end of the month. A neighbor experiencing homelessness who needs a hot meal, a shower, clean clothes, and just as importantly, to be treated with kindness and dignity.
People like Zoey remind us what that kind of care can mean.
When Zoey came to The Sharing Center during a difficult chapter in her life, she found more than assistance. She found hot meals, showers, clean clothes, food, kindness, and people willing to see the person behind the need. Her experience reflects something we hope every neighbor who walks through our doors feels: you matter, and there is still hope.
That commitment also means listening and responding when our community needs more. In February 2026, The Sharing Center reduced the time between eligible food pantry visits from 60 days to 30 days, giving households the opportunity to receive food assistance twice as often during periods of need.
It was a significant change, but an important one. Hunger does not wait 60 days.
Throughout the year, donors, volunteers, community partners, and staff made it possible to provide food and essential support while helping our neighbors experience something that cannot always be measured on a report: dignity, reassurance, and hope.
Our Fiscal Year 2025–2026 Impact Report is a snapshot of what we accomplished together. Every meal served, every pantry visit, every service provided, and every neighbor welcomed represents a community choosing to care for its own.
As the need in Central Brevard continues to grow, so will our commitment to meeting it.
We invite you to explore our Impact Report and see what you made possible.
Because these aren’t simply numbers.
They’re our neighbors. And they’re the reason we’re here.
