Our Backyard BBQ Contest is back!

The Sharing Center of Central Brevard is proud to announce the 9th Annual Amateur Backyard BBQ Contest. On April 6, 2024 come out to
F. Burton Smith Park, in Cocoa, to sample some of the best local BBQ around.
Amateur BBQ Teams from across the county will vie for the title of Amateur Champion Griller in three categories beef, pork, and
chicken. Each team will be providing samples of their delicious BBQ for you, the public that will be voting for the People’s Choice Champion
Griller. While serious competitors are sweating it out, we’ll be soaking up the rays with great food and live entertainment. Sponsors and event

The event’s proceeds will benefit the Sharing Center’s Children’s Weekend Feeding Program, a program designed to empower families with children by providing access to healthy food on the weekends during the school year. Tickets can be purchased at our 2 Thrift Store locations and at local business partners through out the community. Tickets are also available the day of the event.
