Despite a 54% in New Clients, We Faced the Crisis Head-On!
Dear Friends of The Sharing Center of Central Brevard,
I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for stepping up, stepping in, and coming together as a community! Because of your support, we’ve been able to face the crisis caused by the government shutdown and the suspension of SNAP benefits head-on.
Over the past few months, the number of new clients utilizing the Emergency Food Pantry has increased by 54%. These are people from your children’s schools, your churches, and your neighborhoods. They are our neighbors, friends, and family—people leading real lives challenged by difficult times.
We had hoped that with the government reopening and SNAP benefits becoming available once again, the demand for our services would decrease. Unfortunately, that has not been the case, and your ongoing support remains essential.
I am deeply grateful for your generosity, kindness, and trust in the work we do here at The Sharing Center of Central Brevard. Because of you, we continue to provide hope, comfort, and sustenance when it’s needed most.
As we approach the end of the year, I invite you to stand with us once again. Please consider making a donation at www.sharingcenter.org . Every dollar stays right here in our community and directly supports neighbors who need a helping hand now more than ever.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart and for being part of this journey with us.
